Program Summary – Homebuilding
The Homebuilding Intern will be placed within the Accounting verticals and gain exposure to the business by participating in training opportunities throughout the internship. The program will facilitate participants’ development of essential interpersonal and technical skills and position associates for future career success and leadership opportunities. Associates will work alongside seasoned professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture while contributing to impactful projects, and become immersed in Lennar’s culture through onboarding, hands-on training, and team building. Upon program completion, high-performing interns may return to Lennar for full-time opportunities, such as the Future Builders Field Management Rotational Program.
Responsibilities by Role:
Financial Services Intern
Prepare financial statements, journal entries, management reporting, and reconciliations for month-end and quarterly-end closing activities
Ensure the adequacy and compliance of internal control systems
Examine records, reports, operating practices, and more documentation to appraise the accuracy of our systems
Understand the organization’s needs and expectations to draft memos, compute estimated payments, and undergo tax provisional work to control risks to the business.
Requirements:
Graduating from a 4-year College or University (between December 2025 and May 2026, preferred)
Working towards a bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without needing employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and valid auto insurance coverage.
