Senior Product Manager - Order Generation

We are looking for a Product Manager to drive the requirements for order generation. Primarily, functionality in support of Portfolio Managers to model portfolios, manage cash, and raise orders. You’ll collaborate with other Product Managers, development teams, QA, and leadership to plan and create end-to-end solutions for a fast-growing software startup in the financial technology industry.
What will you do?
- Connect directly with Portfolio Managers at our design partners and customers to understand requirements, pain points, and opportunities to add value to their workflows.
- Collaborate closely with the PM Director and Strategist on key roadmap decisions and strategic planning, and with other Product Managers on the Trade Order Management team to develop a seamless workflow.
- Coordinate with the broader Platform team to ensure compelling end-to-end workflows.
- Deliver product roadmaps and coordinate the product development process through analysis, discovery, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases, ensuring on-time delivery while communicating and partnering with technology peers.
- Evangelize the roadmap and technology vision and communicate the value to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Curate use cases for full stack software engineers and ensure sufficient detail, success criteria, goals, and performance objectives are accurate and clearly articulated.
- Partner with QA to collaborate on test plans and ensure quality measures are met.
- Contribute to a cross-functional, collaborative environment deeply rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency.
- Assess resource allocation needs across multiple projects.
- Foster a productive, engaging, supportive culture of excellence as Ridgeline grows.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of product management experience directly owning a product roadmap.
- 3-5+ years of Order Management System / Execution Management System experience in any capacity, including R&D, Service, Tech Sales, etc.
- Solid understanding of institutional asset managers and how their businesses are run.
- Deep knowledge of buy-side portfolio management workflows.
Nice to haves:
- CFA charterholder.
- International and multi-asset class experience.
- Computer science or other technical background.

Compensation and Benefits
[For New York and California Based Only]
The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $130,000-$165,000 for individuals based in New York and California. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
