Your Role at KIK

Join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful operations of our facility. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant.  Bring your expertise to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Directs the maintenance work force and provides on-site expertise.

• Ensures that work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner.

• Reviews work planning and scheduling with the production planner.

• Ensures quality of work adhering to all safety standards.

• Ensure that equipment availability is adequate to meet the production plan.

• Works with plant or production supervision to ensure any operator performed maintenance duties are facilitated.

• Works with the Maintenance Manager to ensure all maintenance craft employees are properly qualified and trained for all maintenance work assigned.

• Champions proactive maintenance vs. reactive maintenance.

• Implements preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

• Monitors shop qualifications and quality standards for outside contractors.

• Develops standards for major maintenance overhauls and outages.

• Manage maintenance team's maintenance budget.

What You’ll Bring

•  Previous hands-on experience with supervising maintenance department

•  Excellent reading, writing and math skills.

•  Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

•  Excellent organizational and mechanical skills. 

•  Basic computer skills using SAP,  Excel and Word.

•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•  Ability to influence culture from reactive to proactive maintenance methodologies.

•  Must be willing to work off shift hours (as needed)
