Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Procurement team at CRH Americas who are recruiting for an experienced Supplier Master Data Application Specialist to be based in our office in Atlanta. As the successful candidate, you will support the execution of the strategic procurement agenda by implementing and maintaining best in class supplier management processes and master data systems to benefit CRH Operating Companies. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring CRH’s APEX Supplier Portal is operating with limited system issues, providing support; execute configuration maintenance, user and role administration and testing of the system; coordinate the release schedule to ensure successful upgrades. Support the supplier onboarding and enablement activities for multiple CRH companies. This is a Hybrid position.
Job Responsibilities
- Support & Drive Adoption of Apex supplier portal for CRH Businesses: Full Lifecycle-Supporting project Implementation & owning Business-as-usual experience through clear pre-defined milestones
- Ensure supplier master data is clean & maintained in collaboration with various operating companies
- Ensure data governance rules are well documented, maintained, enforced and updated
- Back-end configuration updates, setup and support within development, test and production environments
- Maintenance of the configuration documentation, monitoring of control reports, user administration including role assignment and approval flows for APEX
- Work with the CRH IT teams for each division within their ITIL processes (ServiceNow) to manage APEX related incidents, enhancements and requests ensuring SLAs are met
- Monitor and report on supplier/system KPIs to various stakeholders
- Partner with IT responsible for development and support of Apex integrations with interfacing systems
- Provide and coordinate level 2 Apex support for various CRH operating companies
- Coordinate with Apex Analytics Support Desk
- Review and coordinate the implementation of new releases ensuring minimal impact on the day-to-day operations
- Ensure that change control procedures are executed & implemented and used for all deployments
- Drive & Document test plans for user acceptance testing for new functionalities and regression testing
- Support as required in the areas of change management, super user engagement and training
- Support the creation of new training materials by demonstrating new functionalities implemented through new releases or change requests
Job Requirements
- The ideal candidate should be able to evidence experience working as a Procurement process and/or systems professional with sound business acumen. As well as be and engaged team player who can collaborate with other functions and strive for continuous improvement of our processes and/or systems.
- Must be 18 years in age or older.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Willingness to work independently within a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required.
- Fluent in English with strong written & verbal communication
- Excellent presentation skills
- Must have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
