Job Title: --Electrician (In-House) 2nd shift

Job Summary: --New England Mechanical Services, Inc is looking for a licensed Electrician to work at a customer site in the Cromwell/Wallingford CT area.  This person will assemble, install, test, troubleshoot and maintain commercial controls, fire alarms, electrical or electronic wiring and equipment.  Hours are M-F 3:00pm-11:30pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: --

--Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.

--Installs, calibrates and maintains gas monitoring equipment as well as sensors and devices
Integral to building automation and HVAC control systems

--Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.

--Repair faulty equipment or systems.


Qualifications: -- Valid CT Electrical license. Valid Driver's License. Prior Commercial/Industrial experience required. Must have experience with machine and manufacturing equipment.  Must be able to work independently, be self-sufficient, and able to make field decisions.
