This position is responsible for oversight and overall management of the OEBB/PEBB internal operational structure and directs and manages OEBB and PEBB administrative functions and activities in key functional areas like benefits management, member services, eligibility compliance and communications. This position has authority to act as the OEBB/PEBB Deputy Director or OEBB/PEBB Director in the absence of or as delegated by the OEBB/PEBB Deputy Director or OEBB/PEBB Director.
This position falls under the BOM3 classification. The AA Rate Pay Range for this position is $ 8,097.00- 12,522.00 USD Monthly. The information in your application will be used to complete an Equal Pay Analysis to determine salary placement upon hire.

Seven years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience; OR four years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Policy Expertise: Skilled in interpreting and implementing policies, statutes, and regulations across multiple interest groups, and preparing policy analysis, fiscal reviews, and testimony related to healthcare legislation.
Customer-Centered Mindset: Able to resolve complex member issues through creative, compliant, and empathetic solutions. Committed to delivering respectful, responsive service—even when decisions may not favor the member. Customer Communication: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including accessibility and plain language standards and professional correspondence.
Partner/Constituent Engagement: Proficient at building strong relationships with state agencies, educational entities, vendors, and board members, and providing timely and effective information and responses.
