HII Mission Technologies is seeking an Information Assurance Specialist I to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii.  The Information Assurance Specialist I will support cybersecurity and information assurance initiatives in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security threats across networks, systems, and applications, ensuring compliance with DoD security standards.

What You Will Do:

• Identify security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities across networks, systems, applications, and new technology initiatives.
• Develop, test, and operate firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus solutions, and software deployment tools.
• Perform testing and debugging of programs and scripts, preparing instructions for network exploitation activities.
• Apply knowledge of current IA policy, tactics, techniques, and doctrine to enhance security and compliance standards.
• Assist in planning and implementing security requirements, supporting the organization’s information assurance efforts.
• Ensure alignment with IA reporting structures and security protocols to safeguard operational integrity.
• Work under general supervision, supporting cybersecurity teams and senior specialists.

What We're Looking For:

• 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
• Familiarity with standard security concepts, practices, and threat mitigation strategies.
• Ability to work within structured security environments, assisting in analysis and protection efforts.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required; must be eligible to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience working with government or defense-related cybersecurity initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills in risk assessment, security testing, and compliance monitoring.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cybersecurity improvements.
