THE JOB:
It is the primary responsibility of the General Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair all equipment and to assist in the daily operations and activities which they have been assigned and provide administrative and technical support as directed by department management.
THE STARTING RATE: $30.78
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Install, maintain, and repair all general maintenance related to hotel rooms to include basic plumbing, electric, and HVAC
- Complete assigned work orders
- Abilities to interact with guest and team members and provide SHOW experience.
- Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- General knowledge of mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Able to use diagnostic tools, such as but not limited to: Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM meters, compound gauges and pressure gauges etc.
- Knowledgeable of hand power tools
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
