Job Description

As a Security Professional - Chemical Patrol in Hayward, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, offering assistance and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical or petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for chemical or petrochemical environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior, adapting to the unique conditions of the location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
• Assist with emergency response drills and procedures as directed by site management and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
