Unit Description:

Baird 4 is one of three University of Vermont Medical Center, General Medicine Units.  We care for patients with acute and chronic multi-system health needs including but not limited to; respiratory disease, renal and dialysis patients, diabetes, wound care, alcohol withdrawal, substance use disorders, various GI disorders, coagulopathies, and infectious disease. Baird 4 is the only floor outside the ICU that cares for trach & ventilator-dependent adults.

On-call: Not required

Incentives: Weekday Nights - $6.50/hour, Weekend Nights - $10.00/hour, Charge RN differential is $3.00/hour, Preceptor - $2.50/hour.

This is a bargaining union position.
