About the role

We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Level I - to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility Rocky Mount, NC

 In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:  

  • Ensure Safety: By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, you will help maintain a safe working environment. 
  • Promote Health: Reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards ensures that health and safety standards are upheld. 
  • Maintain Quality: Following standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures helps minimize costs and quality exposures. 
  • Achieve Production Goals: Operating manual and automated equipment efficiently to meet production goals and customer expectations. 
  • Support Teamwork: Communicating effectively with your team and support teams to improve quality, safety, processes, and material flow. 
  • Environmental Responsibility: Recognizing and minimizing the negative impact of your work on the environment. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Engaging in training and personal development to stay aligned with business requirements and improve your skills. 
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Keeping your work area clean and orderly, performing routine housekeeping tasks, and identifying equipment needing repair.

    Education: 
    This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. 

    Experience: 
    Minimal or no work experience required.
  • Basic engine setup to harness and de-harness engines for testing
  • Coordinating with team members while using hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively
