Pizza Chef (Pizzaiolo)

Cadence Group is looking for a talented and passionate Pizzaiolo (Pizza Chef) to join our new evening service team and help shape a distinctive dining experience centred around artisanal sourdough pizza and bold, seasonal flavours.

About the Position

As a Pizzaiolo, you’ll play a central role in bringing to life a newly developed evening concept that extends the spirit and quality of our well-established daytime venue. Working with sourdough pizza dough prepared by our in-house bakery team, you'll be responsible for stretching, topping, and baking pizzas to a high standard of consistency and quality throughout service.

You’ll also collaborate with the Head Chef and broader kitchen team to create a cohesive and engaging guest experience that reflects our approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook sourdough Neapolitan-style pizzas using high-quality ingredients and a high-temperature oven
• Work with dough: stretch, shape, and handle dough during service with consistency and skill
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work environment during service
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience
• Contribute ideas to the ongoing development of the menu and service offering

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pizzaiolo or Pizza Chef, ideally in a venue focused on sourdough or Neapolitan-style pizza
• Excellent dough-handling skills and familiarity with pizza ovens
• A strong sense of flavour, quality, and presentation
• Ability to work effectively during high-volume evening service
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
