Apollo Global Management is searching for a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate, Data Governance and Customer Success, to join the Enterprise Data Office within our broader Enterprise Data Organization. This high-impact role will support data governance and customer success across all of Apollo’s business lines, including Apollo Asset Management, Insurance Solutions Group, and Athene.

You will bridge the gap between our enterprise data ecosystem, technical teams, and business users, ensuring data quality, resolving internal customer issues, driving adoption of data products, and supporting Apollo’s strategic vision of leveraging data as a strategic asset for growth.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on data-related support issues; manage and resolve requests through Jira and other tracking tools.

  • Proactively monitor and troubleshoot data quality failures, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Perform detailed root cause analysis to identify data discrepancies, collaborating with technology and business teams to implement permanent solutions.

  • Identify recurring data issues and trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve data health.

  • Partner closely with business units, technology teams, data owners, and data stewards on both tactical and strategic solutions to enhance Apollo’s data ecosystem.

  • Maintain and continuously enhance documentation for data processes, workflows, and training materials to support user education and self-service.

  • Provide hands-on support for the Enterprise Data Office’s customer success capability, ensuring the delivery of high-quality data solutions that meet stakeholder needs and drive business value across the enterprise.

  • Analyze platform adoption and usage metrics to recommend enhancements that drive higher engagement, efficiency, and satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance, or related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

  • 4+ years of professional experience in financial services, consulting, or technology firms in a data management, customer-facing, or business support role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and an ability to identify and triage complex data issues quickly.

  • Deep understanding of data processes, technology, and control frameworks across investment management and financial services operations.

  • Familiarity with key investment management data inputs, such as security master data, position and transaction data, risk reporting, and investment accounting.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills to collaborate across teams and drive solutions.

  • Knowledge of financial instruments including fixed income, alternative investments, equities and derivatives.

  • Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Pyrami
