Job Summary

This at-will position is fully funded by contractual grant funding which is renewed under provisions set by the grantor of the contract. Employment will be contingent upon the continued receipt of these grant funds and satisfactory job performance.
Responsibilities
Elucidate and integrate interface and design requirements from multiple stakeholders.
Develop rapid UI/UX prototypes and present to stakeholders for feedback.
Develop modular, responsive, and performant UI/UX components with an emphasis on generality and re-usability of components across multiple projects.
Implement interfaces that allow users the ability to explore and navigate complex multi-faceted data sets.
Work collaboratively with back-end developers in building out the pediatric cancer data commons.
Build and/or maintain deep knowledge of biomedical research data.
Understand and implement visualization and analysis tools that allow researchers to interpret cohort makeup and analyze clinical data.
Performs code testing on components and works to ensure that appropriate implementation standards are met. Evaluates design alternatives for development cost and solutions using various methods.
Supports and maintains existing applications. Works with web developers and responds to requests from users.
Acts as a technical consultant and resource for faculty research, teaching, and/or administrative projects.
Designs new systems, features, and tools. Solves complex problems and identifies opportunities for technical improvement and performance optimization. Reviews and tests code to ensure appropriate standards are met.
Performs other related work as needed.
