This is a remote position.
About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer with strong skills in both manual and automation testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work across multiple projects, leveraging your expertise in Java, Selenium, and modern CI/CD tools to create, maintain, and execute effective test plans. This role requires a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing both manual and automated testing tasks.
- Log, track, and manage defects efficiently using Jira.
- Review and analyze business requirements to design effective test scenarios.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts in Java using IntelliJ IDEA and Selenium.
- Utilize GitHub Actions to run automated tests and share results via Slack.
- Maintain and update existing automation frameworks.
- Write and execute BDD test cases to ensure clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Use Sourcetree for Git repository management and version control.
- Proven ability to multitask and work across multiple projects.
Strong proficiency in Jira for project and defect tracking. - Hands-on experience with Java programming for test automation.
- Solid working knowledge of IntelliJ IDEA and Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and Slack for reporting.
- Ability to work with and maintain existing automation codebases.
- Experience in writing and executing BDD-style test cases.
- Familiarity with Sourcetree for Git management.
- Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
