The Jr Production Supervisor will oversee and manage production associates ensuring compliance with safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards.

 RESPONSABILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

• Check production results (pitch) and report results through Daily Management
•  Conduct daily meetings with Team Leader's
• Participate in Value Stream daily meeting; T2 & T1
• Confirm routine quality checks
• Audit for adherence to Team Member Standard Work; JIB’s & Process Audits
• Check adherence to Team Leader Standard Work
• Help cover Team Leader absence
• Perform Leader Standard Work tasks
• Administrative: policy, attendance, corrective action, disciplinary action
• Oversee manpower/vacation scheduling
• Oversee with Team Member development and cross-training
• Coordinate with maintenance department for maintenance activities
• Assure necessary support from outside groups is available
• Coordinate linkages to upstream and downstream processes

QUALITY SYSTEM GENERAL RESPONSABILITIES

• Understand and promote Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
• Follow all Procedures. Maintain Records required for QMS applied to your position
• Support Corrective/ Preventive Action as required
• Support Internal Audit Program according to your actual assignments

EHS GENERAL RESPONSABILITIES

• Ensure implementation of Regal Rexnord Environmental, Health and Safety Management System.
• Follow Regal Rexnord/Regulatory Safety Policies and Procedures to perform assigned work duties in a safe manner.
• Report any unsafe conditions, injuries, near-misses or safety suggestions to Supervisors/Manager/EHS representative.
• Cooperate and participate in incident investigations to determine and eliminate causes or hazards.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals and legal documents.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conforms to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience, 1+ years of experience in the position, Similar levels, or areas.
