Part Time Event Security Supervisor (2 or more years ) Newark, NJ

Securitas is looking to hire Event Security Supervisor(s) for our Part time Events Security at the Prudential Center Arena.  

• Pay: $24.00 / hr

Scheduling: Part time
• Candidates must have open availability to be considered for the position.
• No set schedule.
• Weekdays and weekends are required.
• Days off vary 

Responsibilities

• The Part-Time Event Security Supervisor position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by providing lead direction to Security Officers at assigned client sites on assigned shifts

• Observes and reports activities and incidents, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel

• Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises

• The Part-Time Event Security Supervisor maintains the security and safety of the client site by supporting and providing their Security Officers clear guidance and leadership

 

• Strongly encourage candidates that have  RPO /Law Enforcement supervisory experience of at least 4 years or more.

•  

 

The ideal candidate will  provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent. Helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives

Job Requirements:

• Have prior Security Supervisor experience  NO less than 2- 4 years Supervisor experience is needed to be considered.

• Demonstrate the ability to responding to emergency or stressful situations.

• Must have a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and climb or descend stairs, occasional running or sprinting.

• Ability to work in outside elements, including hot, cold, and wet weather.

• Responsible for crowd management issues during events.

• Have a HS diploma or GED.

• Have a verifiable work history.

• Have a reliable means of transportation.

• Able to meet state licensing requirements.

• Must possess or willing to obtain  a valid NJ State Security SORA license.
