US&C HR Director

Job Description:

Likewize is searching for a US&C HR Director to join our team at our global Headquarters in Southlake, TX.

In this role, you will be at the center of developing our people across the US and Canada. In partnership with the HR team, you will continue to drive a strong focus on employee engagement, retention, and communication. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about the employee experience and will play a key role in making Likewize an even more engaged workplace through meaningful programs and processes.  This role has both administrative and strategic responsibilities. The ideal candidate to fill this position will be a strategic human resource professional with proven capability in driving the entire employee life cycle, HR programs, policies and engagement strategy. You will partner with business leaders to enable them to effectively lead, motivate, develop, and retain their people.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Guide processes and practices to support attracting, developing and retaining talent

• Partner with local business leaders to communicate key happenings across the org

• Build strong, trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results

• Integrate new leaders and instill culture and business values

• Manage talent, including assessments and identifying key competencies, knowledge and talent gaps – and devise plans to fill those gaps

• Partner with talent acquisition to best identify and recruit high potential talent

• Regular review and plan for benefits and compensation that continues to motivate, incentivize and reward for strong performance 

• Work with colleagues globally to promote consistent HR practices across our locations

• Resolve employee relations and other sensitive issues

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations around employment practices, employee health and safety and employee and labor relations

​If you are who we are looking for, you will have the following education, skills and/or experience:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in HR; experience in a global company preferred

• Experience with non-exempt and exempt employee populations is a huge plus

• Broad knowledge and experience in recruitment, retention, compensation, benefits, employee relations

• Excellent people management skills

• Problem solver with strong analytical ability; strategic thinker with a common sense approach

• Strong business acumen

• Excellent communicator and decision-maker; ability to negotiate, persuade and lead

• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and competing demands

• Knowledge of US employment laws

• Knowledge of Canada employment laws preferred
