Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist partners closely with Talent Acquisition Consultants and Hiring Leaders to understand staffing needs and then develop and implement a proactive, innovative sourcing strategy focused on critical, difficult and visible roles in a service line. Ensures consistency of employer brand to attract and recruit diverse, top talent. Proactively builds talent pools of qualified candidates by gathering and analyzing data from sourcing options. The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist will creatively source, assess and select qualified applicants to be referred as candidates for open searches including networking and cultivating a talent pipeline. Responsible for creating a positive customer experience to applicants. This role will anticipate industry trends and utilizes labor market information to ensure best-in-class candidate sourcing.

Focus: External client facing with focus on passive outbound sourcing, building talent pipelines, screening and assessing applicants.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Strategic Sourcing Responsibilities

  • Partners with Talent Acquisition Consultant to understand staffing needs and develop proactive, innovative sourcing/recruitment strategies to attract and recruit top talent to address the sourcing challenges and market conditions specific to each assigned service line.

  • Develops and executes a proactive, innovative, cost-effective recruitment/sourcing strategy to target a diverse pool of qualified applicants for vacancies.

  • Performs advanced sourcing including social media, internet and database mining (ATS, CRM), developing relationships with professional organizations, colleges and schools, community agencies to identify and recruit a diverse slate of candidates for all positions.

  • Conducts cold calls to passive candidates to present opportunities for critical, difficult and visible positions.

  • Performs structured screening and assessment to ensure applicants meet both job and organization requirements.

  • Makes recommendation to Talent Acquisition Consultant(s) and hiring manager(s) on the referral of the qualified candidates.

  • Participates in media planning to determine media contracts.

  • Enters and maintains, current and accurate information in the Applicant Tracking System including but not limited to: job posting content, applicant tracking and response, anecdotal information and other required data.

  • Communicates status of searches with the Talent Acquisition Consultant(s) on a consistent and timely basis.

  • Maintains and reports Recruitment Metrics for assigned departments/key jobs on a regular scheduled basis.

  • Manages responses to applicants including but not limited to: receipt of application, application status and specific information reconciling applicant qualifications relative to job requirements.

  • Develops and maintains network and database of potential candidates for future reference including pipeline of passive candidates.

  • Coordinate and track the utilization of the employee referral program; make recommendations for changes as appropriate.

  • Support WellStars sourcing strategy priorities to provide high quality candidates at all levels.

  • Maintains knowledge of current health care system employee benefits, salary structures, etc. Provides candidate information related to culture and benefits, which promotes our health care system as the Employer of Choice.

  • Understands the market competitiveness of the healthcare industry both locally and nationally. Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the areas of Recruiting, Human Resources and Healthcare by reading appropriate books, journals, articles and literature and attending professional development activities including webinars and professional association meetings.
