Commercial Operations Coordinator 

 

To join our expanding, commercial operations team and be part of a dynamic international team based in Houston, Texas.

You will work closely with external and internal counterparties globally. Our work combines accountability, cooperation, and the desire to develop and renew. 

 

The Commercial Operations Team coordinates all operative and logistics matters in renewable petroleum and feedstock scheduling, as well as takes care of customer service function and terminal operations.  This position reports to the Operations Manager and is a team member involved in the day to day execution of supply, sales and trading operations associated with deliveries by marine and land.

Your role in our team
 

• Daily operations of supply and sales cargo movements for term and spot contracts. The main purpose of these tasks is to independently coordinate cargo movements related to physical oil or feedstock supply contracts – from planning of the delivery to invoicing

• Coordinations of terminal operations and inventory management

• Daily cooperation with suppliers and vendors in the areas of commercial operations, delivery planning and scheduling, compliance, invoicing and payments, quality monitoring, sustainability documentation and other daily operational matters

• Coordination of commercial matters with sales, legal, logistics, technical support, finance, risk management and other internal stakeholders

 
Keys to success in this role

 

• Degree in business or similar studies, and/or several years of experience in a corresponding position in the petroleum industry

• Good understanding/knowledge of the petroleum industry as a whole

• Experience in commercial cargo operations and with different modes of transportation in international oil trade is a benefit

• Knowledge of renewable fuels and raw material supply is a plus

• Understanding of compliance in regards to renewable fuels is a plus

• Hands-on with various IT systems experience with ERP systems (especially with SAP and terminal systems e.g. TABS), Google office products and Salesforce is a plus

• Fluent English, both written and spoken, other languages ar
