Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.
Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training.
Provides support to customers/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.

Working at NTT

Experience:- 4+ Years

• Perform health check of Nutanix / VMware INFRA as per daily reports.
• Check, respond to tickets logged in Manage Engine ticketing tool. 
• Provision new VMs as per approved tickets in VMware and Nutanix environment.
• Decommission VMs as per end user tickets and request backup team to take backup before decommissioning by assigning task to Backup team for Prod VMs. 
• Monitor and respond to emails for VM team. 
• Take snapshots on patching team and end user request ticket and delete old snapshot under house keeping activity on daily basis.  
• Update VM inventory for VMware and Nutanix VMs as per request. 
• Fetch and provide VM details as per user request.
• Add/Remove new disk, CPU and memory on VM as per request. 
• Prepare and provide housekeeping data of VMs which are idle or in powered-off state for longer duration and take action by deleting them by following defined process.  
• Do end to end coordination with OEM. like, Log ticket with OEM for day to day issues reported in VMware and Nutanix environment and do follow-up till its closure.  
• Execute change orders as per user request. 
• Co-ordinate with different teams to resolve end user requests and incident tickets.
• Close VACA points on VMware INFRA.
• Install / Upgrade VMware ESXi hosts as per InfoSec vulnerability reports. 
• Perform P2V and V2V as part of virtualization and consolidation.
• Attend end user calls to resolve there concern and queries.
