Position Summary:
The Translational Hearing Genomics Lab (Principal Investigator: Eliot Shearer MD, PhD) strives to improve the lives of children with hearing loss through genomics. Current lab focuses include improving genetic diagnosis for hearing loss and pushing novel precision and genomic therapies towards the clinic. Dr. Aaron Remenschneider’s translational research laboratory studies middle ear mechanics and bone conduction physiology. This role entails project coordination and management for both principal investigators. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who enjoys working as a part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily study operations
- Manage regulatory compliance
- Coordinate team tasks
- Coordinate budgets and invoicing
- Consent patients
- Schedule trial visit and coordinate participant travel
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's required, Master's preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of relevant work experience required; OR Master's Degree and 2 years of relevant work experience required.
- Prior clinical trial coordination experience required.
