Senior Associate, Project Manager, Partnerships GM / COTC Chief of Staff (Hybrid)

US Card Partnerships currently comprises the cobrand and PLCC programs for Bass Pro Cabelas, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Kohls, REI, Williams Sonoma, Menards, UP/IBT, and Neiman Marcus.  We are building out a GM / COTC Strategy and Chief of Staff pod to support horizontally across our portfolio of partners.

In this role, you will report directly into the GM / COTC Chief of Staff team supporting a Senior Vice President and leadership team in Partnerships. You will work on a diverse set of strategic projects based on the top of house priorities, help deliver well-executed processes that improve team efficiency, and bolster the broader team engagement. This role will play an important part in creating and maintaining a positive associate experience throughout the organization and providing leverage to senior leaders through a variety of project/event management activities.

Responsibilities:

• Leads special projects autonomously and through partnership with cross functional teams - especially in meeting management, talent, and cultural development

• Creates executive-ready presentations and materials

• Prioritize and focus leaders in a number of key areas (people strategy, well managed and business operations).

• Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional key stakeholders

The Ideal Candidate:

• A highly organized, reliable, resourceful, and flexible multi-tasker and project manager with solid prioritization skills

• Action oriented, always leaning in and moving with a sense of urgency  

• A multitasker, able to handle multiple priorities in parallel, and extremely well organized in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment

• A self-confident, self-starter, and strategic thinker

• Able to build strong, trusted relationships and operate in an influential manner with executives to assist in driving the strategic agenda

• Leverage skills to provide support where needed on key department initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• At least 2 years of project management experience

• At least 2 years of writing or communications experience

• At least 1 year of experience using Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of project management experience

• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Strong problem solving and influencing skills

• Experience collaborating with senior leadership

• Experience achieving results with complex projects

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Chicago, IL: $86,000 - $98,200 for Sr. Project Manager

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
