Job Description

This role is responsible for supporting the business as they collaborate with their top, strategic External Labor & Professional Services suppliers / vendors, including coordination of activities (i.e., identifying partners for Quarterly Business Reviews). It is expected that this role excels working independently, while effectively communicating to executive leaders to drive desired outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include overseeing the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including selection, negotiation, performance management, and relationship building. This position will work closely with internal partners to ensure alignment with business objectives, optimize supplier performance, and drive cost efficiencies. The individual will evaluate vendor capabilities, assess risks, and implement strategies to champion long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. Additionally, the role involves monitoring market trends, conducting regular supplier evaluations, and identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnership: Serve as a strategic Business Partner with Enterprise Relationship Managers to provide recommended supplier management policies and procedures, including supplier performance targets and assessment criteria for External Labor & Professional Services suppliers
  • Supplier Segmentation Framework: Develop a best-in-class supplier segmentation framework, using specific assessment criteria (e.g., risk, spend, etc.) to influence business decisions on strategic vendors / suppliers
  • Contractual / Commercial Performance Management: Monitor and ensure all parties involved in a contract (such as service providers, vendors, or contractors) fulfill their obligations as specified in the contract. Focusing on assessing the performance of contract terms, conditions, and deliverables to ensure compliance with agreed-upon standards, timelines, and quality levels.
  • Portfolio Management: Collaborate with the other category lead & sourcing managers to develop and execute strategies for efficient supplier portfolio management, encompassing segmentation and rationalization initiatives aligned with strategic objectives
  • Project Management: Responsible for the coordination of strategic supplier / vendor relationships between the Business and the third party. Activities include identification of business stakeholders, gathering requirements and ideation of supplier innovation
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing supplier performance improvement initiatives, including overseeing supplier business reviews and targeted improvement plans
  • Issue Resolution: Addressing and resolving conflicts or issues that arise with vendors, ensuring a timely and fair resolution
  • Drive Innovation: Contribute to sourcing initiatives that drive innovation, cost savings, and operational efficiency in line with the company's broader business strategies.

The expected salary range for this role is $149,260 – $190,310 per year

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-year degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a highly complex environment and Global landscape
