Position Summary

Huron Consulting Group’s Learning and Talent Team, within the HR department, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Leadership Development. This critical role is an integral part of the Huron’s Learning & Talent team responsible for executing leadership development. This role will play a pivotal role in shaping the leadership pipeline within our organization. The primary focus will be to design, implement, and manage effective leadership development programs through close collaboration with leaders, HR professionals, and subject matter experts to create impactful learning experiences.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:
Learning Path Design and Deployment:
o Design and facilitate in person and virtual leadership development paths aligned with organizational goals and leadership competencies.
o Assess, recommend, and implement leadership development processes, tools, and resources.
o Evaluate the ROI of programs and continued monitoring of success
Facilitation and Delivery:
o Facilitate leadership and professional development programs across the organization.
o Deliver workshops and courses that align with organizational objectives.
o Deliver targeted leadership assessment debriefs as applicable.
Industry Trends and Knowledge:
o Stay informed about industry trends in leadership development and implement industry best practices.
Collaboration:
o Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts, business partners, and vendors.
o Develop collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders, including broader HR team, business leaders, etc.
Skills Enhancement:
o Build common leadership and professional skills for all employees.
Change Management and Organizational Communications:
o Document specific change impacts
o Manage expectations
o Develop and execute communication plans


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
5+ years of progressive learning & development experience
5+ years of leadership development experience

Consulting firm experience strongly preferred
Expertise in Learning & Development including experience facilitating in-person and remote training programs

Leadership Development certifications strongly preferred (DiSC, Hogan, Strengthfinders, EQi, Crucial Conversations)
Experience designing in-house, customized leadership development programs
Demonstrated track record of aligning learning strategies with organizational strategy.
Proven experience in planning and executing learning initiatives for senior leaders in global environments
Experience assessing ROI of learning programs
Expert skills in designing and facilitating senior-level strategy sessions, meetings, and other interventions, as needed
Proven project management skills; clarifying goals, breaking down the work into a realistic work plan, engaging project team members, etc.
Experience working in diverse, agile teams with diverse levels of management
Strong skills in PowerPoint and Word (some Excel)
Success working in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment working across multiple time zones
Strong meeting, group, and team facilitation skills
Proven experience managing client relationships and expectations
High level of client service focus
Strong, proactive organizational and communication skills
Willingness to travel occasionally

Master’s degree preferred (Human Resources, Business, Education, Psychology, MBA, Design, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Management)
3-5 years working in professional services environment a minimum
Proficiency in learning management systems and authoring tools, Workday a plus
