Position Summary
Based on experience and education, new hires in this position are expected to start between $18.20 & 18.70 per hour.

CVS Health has a few exciting new opportunities to be a part of our Mail Order Pharmacy team in Mount Prospect, IL. As a pharmacy technician you will be responsible for processing items returned by our members and processing medications being transferred in from other pharmacies. You may be cross-trained on other functions within the facility and your efforts will affect the lives of thousands of patients who rely on these critical specialty medications to be delivered from our pharmacy.

In order to be successful in this role you must be able to stand for periods of time throughout your shift, push/reach/twist/turn/bend/stand/walk and lift up to 20 lbs., but primarily the job involves working at a desk on a computer system. During your time at CVS as a pharmacy technician you will be exposed to multiple job functions. This will give you the chance to apply for future promotional opportunities and advance in your career.

This is an onsite 1st shift day/afternoon position. The schedule is 5 eight-hour shifts: Monday through Friday 6AM-130pm or 7AM-230PM(off Saturday, & Sunday)

Required Qualifications
-Some computer & keyboarding experience

-Regular and predictable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on SAP systems.
- Experience working in a Mail Order Pharmacy.

Education
- Verifiable high school diploma, GED or equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $31.30

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
