Pastry Chef - Domes White Coast Milos

<p>Domes Resorts is now hiring!</p><p></p><p>We are looking for a highly energetic, creative and results driven <strong>Pastry Chef</strong> to join our <strong>Domes White Coast Milos </strong>team <strong>by Makris </strong>in Milos island for the season of 2024. </p><p></p><p>The ideal candidate exhibits creative baking and decorating talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff in preparing quality and consistent pastries for all areas. Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Leads development and training of team to improve results while maintaining standards. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved.</p><p>Main Responsibilities: </p><ul><li>Work enthusiastically as a member of our busy kitchen team </li></ul><ul> <li>Undertake training &amp; development from our Executive Chef, Mr. Petros Dimas </li> <li>Operate the Pastry section to a high standard </li> <li>Maintain fridges and other food storage areas, monitoring and recording temperatures </li> <li>Cook and plate food according to agreed recipes and standards of mise en place </li> <li>Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers in a safe manner &amp; ensuring correctness of temperatures. </li> </ul><ul> <li>Set-up and break down work station, washing and disinfecting kitchen area, tables, tools, knives, and equipment. </li> <li>Uphold current local Covid-19 Guidelines </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; </li> <li>4 years of experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
