Join Collins Aerospace as a Hardware Management & Project Coordinator and provide support to the Wheels and Brakes Value Stream Engineering group. In this role you will be asked to achieve objectives for the New Product Introduction projects dealing with production products/customers, and the In-Service Projects dealing with already fielded programs.

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment.
What YOU will do:
- Perform engineering hardware procurement, tracking, management, and project administration to support project objectives.
- Generate Non-Product Purchase Requisition (NPPR) through SRM and work with external suppliers to manage hardware deliveries.
- Coordinate project status meetings, review of action items and status, and gain input on project direction from the project stakeholders, updating of project schedules and status.
- Coordinate Export / Import authorization activities, as required, for interactions with outside engineering centers (US and non-US). This includes developing a Project Control Plan (PCP) and use of ITC tools including x-Class and TEXPORT.
- Support department administrative duties as time permits and fill-in work. This might include coordination of International Import/Export, Visitor Management, NPPR administration, Configuration Management support, etc.
- Support development and execution of Industry Specification review process
- Support Earned Value Management tracking including SAP transactions
- Support CO/CR process actions

Qualifications you must have:
- Typically requires a degree in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or a related field unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and 2 years prior relevant experience or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
Qualifications We Prefer:
- General knowledge of Project Management, preferably with experience in an Electrical and Mechanical Engineering environment. Aerospace experience a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Project, Word, Power Point, Visio, and Excel.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in SAP, Teamcenter (or other collaboration space), and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience writing Standard Job Instructions and/or technical processes
- Experience with engineering change process
- Understanding of Engineering and Manufacturing process
