Job Description

Join the financial engine of Westgate Resorts and begin your career in data-driven decision-making. As a Business Intelligence Analyst / Junior Tableau Developer on the FP&A team, you will support the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of reporting and analytics solutions that help teams across the organization better understand financial performance and operational trends.

This role is ideal for an early-career analyst who is passionate about data visualization, curious about how data supports business decisions, and eager to grow technical and analytical skills under the guidance of experienced BI and FP&A professionals.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of existing Tableau dashboards used by FP&A and business partners.
  • Assist in developing new Tableau visualizations and reports based on defined requirements and best practices.
  • Assist with validating data accuracy and resolving data discrepancies in reports.
  • Help ensure dashboards are accurate, easy to use, and aligned with user needs.
  • Write and modify SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data for reporting and analysis, with guidance from senior team members.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial and operational analysis in collaboration with FP&A and other stakeholders.
  • Document data definitions, reporting logic, and dashboard usage to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand reporting needs and help translate questions into basic analytical outputs.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure reliability of reports and analyses.
  • Learn and follow established BI standards, data governance practices, and development workflows.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, finance analytics, or a related field (internships, co-ops, or rotational programs count).
  • Basic to intermediate experience using Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write and understand queries for reporting purposes.
  • Familiarity with relational databases or data warehouse environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, concepts, and business processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to FP&A, financial reporting, or operational analytics.
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, or similar platforms.
  • Internship or early professional experience in a corporate analytics, BI, or finance environment.
  • Interest in the travel, hospitality, or financial services industries.
