Job Description
The Opportunity:
The Sr. Inventory Associate is responsible for handling inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and supporting warranty and replacement part needs. This role ensures efficient processing, storage, and shipment of parts, and utilizes various inventory and shipping software to manage warehouse operations effectively.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Receive and verify accuracy of inbound shipments against invoices and packing slips
- Locate parts in Mimics and physically in the warehouse
- Maintain inventory integrity, including stock adjustments, purging outdated parts, and verifying part locations (primary and secondary)
- Prepare small outbound shipments for warranty claims or consumer-paid replacements
- Monitor and prepare large orders for truck shipments, ensuring correct documentation is processed
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Use software platforms including Clippership, Exeter, Mimics, CATS, FedEx International Shipping, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Photograph new parts and update inventory systems accordingly
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including restocking packaging materials
- Assist team members with pick/pack tasks and order release as needed
Shift:
- Monday – Thursday 7AM - 4PM
- Friday 7AM – 12PM
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or consumer services environment.
- Previous use of MIMICS, CATS, and Microsoft Office is helpful but not required.
- Exemplary attendance and consistent job performance.
- Forklift experience required.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to act quickly and decisively.
- Excellent multitasking, time management, and prioritization skills.
- High attention to detail, especially in order accuracy and data entry.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to support various warehouse functions beyond primary responsibilities.
- Demonstrated a growth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.
Physical Activities:
- Ability to stand and operate a forklift for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Frequent walking, lifting (up to 65 lbs), reaching, kneeling, crouching, and repetitive hand motions.
- Must have visual acuity and ability to handle physical warehouse conditions and hazards (e.g., forklifts, moving parts).
The base hourly rate for this position is between $17.50 and $21.90.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base hourly rate will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
