Job Description
Summary
Responsible for establishing plans, determining priorities, prescribing the processes and coordinating the staff resources needed to achieve objectives of Verdegard Administrators, LLC within MedImpact Health and Wellness’s overall operating plans and policies.
Verdegard Administrators, LLC consists of Verdegard Administrators LLC, Verdegard PBM LLC, and Priority Consulting LLC.
Works collaboratively with MedImpact Health and Wellness’s Executive leadership in strategic planning, business/market planning, goal setting and developing a long-term success initiative for Verdegard. This position has direct oversight for TPA Operations (Claims, Call Center, Health Services), Client Finance, and Account Management.
This role will be responsible to grow the company’s brand awareness and grow the overall TPA business.
Will have P&L responsibility and drive the growth and expansion of the business. Responsible for setting and achieving revenue goals and meeting both revenue and EBITDA targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Oversees/leads all functions/operations of Verdegard Administrators.
Oversees the financial results of Verdegard Administrators (budgets, forecasts, financial statements, etc.).
Works with MedImpact Health and Wellness’s Leadership (parent company) team to determine the strategic planning, business mapping, market outlines, budgeting, goal setting, etc. for Verdegard.
Interacts regularly with MedImpact Health and Wellness’s Executive team and individual department heads to determine Verdegard Administrators’ operating priorities, and procedures to implement same.
Ensures that the development, implementation and administration of departmental business plans & budgets are consistent with overall Verdegard Administrators strategic planning initiatives.
Ensures Verdegard Administrators’ compliance with all relevant rules, regulations and laws.
Design and directs implementation and execution of operating and service policies, guidelines, and practices for the enterprise.
Continually investigates and introduces operational process improvement measures and presents suggestions to President for consideration.
Strives to ensure operations move forward & stay current while maximizing innovation
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages assigned staff in the functional area. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Verdegard companies. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Supports and enforces all company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner, taking corrective action whenever necessary.
