Health Account Strategic Graphic Designer

Key Role:

Provide consistent messaging to clients through visuals regarding Booz Allen’s brand. Support the development of marketing, communications, and proposal assets while collaborating with Health and Life Sciences (HLS) Growth Strategy and Capture (GSC) Team members to support capture and positioning activities. Use strategic thinking about customer needs and apply modern visual design and storytelling to create clear and impactful messages. Coordinate activities with marketing, capture, and proposal professionals to share insights and strategies. Collaborate with the Visual Design Lead, Capture Managers, and Capture Teams to create graphics for capture and positioning activities. Produce new concept ideas for graphics and work with the Visual Design Lead to finalize marketing graphics or visuals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and marketing, to provide graphic designs when necessary. Communicate with other teams to ensure consistent brand depiction and visual storytelling quality for presentations and capture efforts. Lead Concept of Operation (ConOps) facilitation activities and work with team member feedback to create graphics supporting capture, positioning, and proposal activities. Report to the HLS Account GSC Visual Design Lead. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience designing compelling strategic graphics for client selling meetings and government proposal assets, including ConOps and business development processes

• 10+ years of experience developing marketing and communications (MarCom) collateral, including compelling graphics and layout using industry best practices

• Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud product suite, including InDesign and Illustrator

• Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint and Word

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Graphic Design

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with business development lifecycle frameworks such as Shipley

• Ability to develop visual graphics and infographics of a consistent quality

• Ability to facilitate the development of assets with the team

• Ability to problem solve and manage time independently

• Ability to be detail-oriented, organized, and on top of priorities with minimal oversight

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
