We are currently looking for a  Accounting Manager ready to join our adventure.

What you will be doing

• Take responsibility for managing the general ledger.
• Leading the accounting team.
• Take responsibility for accounting for all company financial documents, including invoices, bank statements and other business transactions.
• Ensure that all accounting entries are prepared accurately and in line with corporate and regulatory deadlines.
• Drive the alignment of the company's accounting to IFRS.
• Work within GL processes and make recommendations for improvement where necessary.
• Prepare and maintain accurate tax records and file VAT, WHT and CIT in accordance with local principles.
• Utilise technological solutions to manage financial record keeping while ensuring completeness as required by statutory authorities.
• Manage the asset register, including booking monthly depreciation.
• Prepare annual financial statements and other reports for management.
• Take full ownership of the balance sheet and ensure that balance sheet areas are appropriately reconciled, analysed and controlled.
• Take full responsibility for the month-end closing process.
• Work closely with external auditors.
• GUS (CSO) and NBP reporting.
• Cooperation with other team members in the area of monthly group reporting.
• Act as the contact person for correspondence with the tax authority.
• Take part in the implementation of new ERP features or the new accounting system.

Skills you should have

• At least 5 years of professional background in a similar position
• Knowledge of tax regulations including WHT and VAT and CIT
• Knowledge of IFRS standards
• At least fundamental knowledge of the principles of consolidating financial reports
• Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Practical excel skills
• Strong analytical and multitasking skills
• Experience with the Exact Net Suite, Saldeo system is nice to have
