SUMMARY

Mortenson is seeking a Project Clerk for our Civil Operating Group to provide administrative support for the on-site construction engineering team; position is located at our project in Wynne, AR.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform clerical tasks and operate basic office equipment
  • Take incoming calls, answer general information inquiries, and forward them to the appropriate staff
  • File and maintain written and electronic documentation and correspondence
  • Prepare materials for design and construction meetings, record meeting minutes
  • Support Superintendent with equipment inventory, tracking and organizing, and timecard data entry for all craft workers
  • Receive, sort, and log all incoming deliveries; prepare all outbound deliveries
  • Ensure procurement of office supplies and consumable materials
  • Schedule, track, and record all repairs and standard maintenance for the work trucks
  • Provide maps and directions for visitors to the site including subcontractors, new employees, and delivery personnel
  • Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
  • All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate degree in business or a related administrative field is strongly desired
  • Minimum two years of construction office support experience
  • Current driver’s license
  • Strong teamwork orientation, initiative, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
  • Microsoft Office, project and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
  • Proven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skills
  • Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback
