Requirement:

• 2+ years in the veterinary industry
• Cornerstone software knowledge preferred, not required
• Knowledge of Idexx lab equipment
• Knowledge of basic industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Believes in the importance of client education
• Compassionate toward our patients and clients
• Motivated to learn new skills
• Positive and supportive team player
• Able to work rotating Saturday shifts and treatment weekends

Pay Range: Starting at $16 (based on experience)

Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm Saturday 8:00pm-4:00pm

Animal Medical Care is a fast-paced, growing 5 doctor companion animal clinic that is actively looking for a full-time experienced veterinary technician to join our amazing team. We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Veterinary Technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork using Idexx lab equipment, has experience with x-ray and proper positioning, understands the importance of client education, and is a supportive and positive team player. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and growing and Animal Medical Care encourages its staff to do the same.
