NOVA’s Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facilities (PRTFs) in Kinston, North Carolina offer secure residential care for children with mental illness.

About the Position:

• Full Time Day Shift Available (Day Shift: 5:30am-5:30pm)
• This position oversees the operation of Residential Services ensuring compliance with Mental Health regulations, state and local regulations and NOVA Behavioral Health policies and procedures. This position also provides direct supervision to paraprofessionals, works in cooperation with care teams, and supervises the on-call program. The RSS also exhibits sensitivity toward consumers, stakeholders and co-workers from various cultural, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious and racial backgrounds.

Requirements

A successful RSS at Nova possesses:

• The desire to make a difference in the lives of children with behavioral and mental health challenges
• Required: A valid NC Driver’s License, High School Diploma
• Preferred: Experience in staff supervision / management
• Preferred: One year of experience in a Residential Treatment Facility
