Warehouse Technician III
New Albany, Ohio
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Technician III is responsible for operational and comprehensive technical knowledge across multiple areas, leading a team to safely and efficiently execute their job duties while promoting and living out Pharmavite's s Operating Values. The Warehouse Technician III is responsible for overseeing and executing daily warehouse tasking processes by using ERP system to release sales, work orders and replenishment orders for Production and Packaging. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME), displays the technical and administrative competence to initiate revisions to existing documents, troubleshoot existing procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Assigns work and follows up with employees to ensure accuracy and completeness of orders. Provide solutions to routine systematic issues during the releasing of work order, sales and OPV orders.
Builds employee capability to support sustainable solutions addressing systemic issues. Provides leadership to develop team members’ problem-solving and technical knowledge to troubleshoot quality and operational issues.
Assesses changing priorities and reassigns staff for optimum workflow; accordingly, watches for internal shipments and ensures materials are in route to all Pharmavite Distribution Centers.
Assists in communicating changes within shift change meeting; responsible for distributing information to team members and management in a clear and effective manner.
Collaborates closely with the customer service team to resolve sales orders and allocation issues.
Collaborates with the warehouse supervisors, associates, and escalates issues to managers when necessary. communicate with CIT when systematic problems arise and communicate with Warehouse supervisors, managers and other departments as needed.
Releases all orders systematically and generates picking lists, packing lists, work orders picking reports, labels and other documents needed for the continual flow of shipments.
Provides necessary development training for shipping and receiving forklift operators including, but not limited to, JD Edwards ERP software, DIS, forklift certification and Department SOPs/JIs.
Analyzes and reviews all inventory related activities while identifying and correcting daily inventory discrepancies on a timely basis.
Ensures accurate status of Packaging work orders are prepared and staged in a timely manner as to prevent downtime on Packaging Lines.
Leads and trains on root cause problem-solving with urgency, ensures the team applies Lean Methodologies by implementing and sustaining corrective actions.
Works well independently and has strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
Adheres to cGMP standards in completing relevant paperwork, following good documentation practices, and performing quality control checks.
Escalates issues related to safety, quality compliance, and equipment status. Communicates needs or other support as needed.
Performs additional leadership tasks as assigned to support business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
HS Diploma or combination of equivalent education and warehouse experience or knowledge required.
Certification
Must be able to complete Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) driving test and certification training.
Experience:
Minimum 3 to 5 years' warehouse experience. Successful completion of the Pharmavite Technician Program.
Working knowledge of warehouse processes or a combination of skills, knowledge, and demonstrated ability to learn recommended. Previous software and data entry experience required to facilitate the use of company ERP systems: DSI/JDE/CETOVA.
