Job Description
As a Cleared Armed Security Officer - Aero Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .
As an Cleared Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a leading aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. This position requires you to be armed and to meet all necessary armed certification requirements. If you meet the driving requirements, you may also be responsible for operating company vehicles as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret
$29.72 / Hour - Top Secret after Vetting
$39.75 / Hour - Yankee White after Vetting
Job Schedule:

- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor for unusual activity or potential threats, reporting observations according to site protocols.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
- Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs specific to the aerospace and defense environment.
- Handle access control duties, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management as required by site policies.
- Remain prepared to respond to emergencies or incidents, following established procedures and communicating with appropriate authorities as needed.

- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a active Texas Armed Security license in hand / or
- Must possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas.
- Must have an active Department of Defense Clearance.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
