Job Description:

Join GDIT and be a part of the men and women that solve some of the world’s most complex technical challenges. The DTRA I3TS team is seeking a Enterprise Cloud Engineer Senior to join their program in Ft Belvoir, VA.

This program provides enterprise-wide IT support to enable the customer to consolidate, modernize, and continuously innovate the delivery of IT services and mission capabilities. These services will deliver exceptional execution value to internal and external mission partners operating in CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Duties include:

• Design, implementation, and support experience with enterprise Cloud environment.
• Experience with Cloud native and Hybrid Cloud environments.
• Experience support Cloud virtual machines (Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
• Experience support Kubernetes, Containers, and related technologies.
• Serves as key technical expert who provides technical expertise in designing, architecting, deploying and maintaining cloud solutions.
• Provides strategic consulting to internal and external clients of cloud's current capabilities and provides future direction on all cloud products and services.
• Assists with providing Cloud strategy, implementation and Migration 

  

Basic Required Qualifications:  

• BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• 5+ years of experience supporting cloud migrations, implementations and strategy
• Experience with Kubernetes, Containers, Linux, virtual machines and other related technologies
• AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or Microsoft Azure cloud certification(s)
• TS/SCI

The likely salary range for this position is $128,666 - $174,078. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
