We’re in hyper-growth, building and scaling a business to disrupt the healthcare credentialing industry, delivering comprehensive solutions for background check and verification requirements, and innovating in the area of digital identity.
We’re seeking a passionate and seasoned UX Designer who can translate complex problems into simple, beautiful user experiences, and inspire others to actively “think in UX ''. The ideal candidate will play a key role in conceptualizing, designing, and implementing innovative user experiences. These experiences should focus on optimizing efficiency and delivering information seamlessly and in a timely manner to ensure heightened user satisfaction. We are looking for an individual that possesses a strong understanding of generative AI technologies and can seamlessly integrate them into the user experience design process. 
This is the first full time UX role at a company that highly values and trades on user experience. You’ll have the opportunity to prove you can lead the company in outstanding UX, and subsequently build a team as we scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and key stakeholders, to understand project goals and requirements.
• Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes that leverage generative AI in the design process, allowing for effective communication and testing of concepts.
• User Research: Conduct research on user needs as well as usability testing to gather feedback on features and to iterate designs based on user insights that result in continuous improvement of the overall user experience.
• Stay Current: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in UX research, design, generative AI, and related fields to bring innovative ideas and approaches to the team.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, and design systems, to guide the development team in implementing features and the delivery/research team in utilizing internal software.
• Leadership: You know how to train and inspire PMs and others in UX best practices, and are excited at the prospect of a growing company where you can prove your ability to lead a UX team in the future.
• Expertise: Become an expert in our customer base and translate the needs of those healthcare staffing, systems, and others, into user experience that delights and surprises in its simplicity.

You’re a great fit if…

• You have professional work experience in technology as a designer, startup and scaling experience is best
• You have a strong track record in using generative AI tools and frameworks
• You have background or familiarity with healthcare staffing, background checks, staffing, healthcare credentialing, or related industries
• You have proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.
• You display empathy for the user and possess a strong understanding of user-centered design and research principles and methodologies
• You have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
• You are a self starter and possess the hunger to continuously learn
• You have B2B experience, and have some B2C experience or a mind for how to operate in that market
• You love connecting with people via video, phone, chat tools, and over-communicate to compensate for what remote/digital work can lack

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects across web, mobile, and SaaS platforms
• 7+ years of relevant professional work experience
• Familiarity with design, product, and development process in a fast moving technology company
