Technical Writer

 Full Visibility is seeking a Technical Writer to work in Quantico, VA. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret clearance. 

The Technical Writer will be responsible for writing and editing technical documents, such as technical procedure manuals, user/service manuals, programming standards, operational process and specifications, systems design, job aids, release notes, and end-user help documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating clearly and effectively technical details and instructions to a wide audience inside and outside the project team.

Additionally, the Technical Writer will work with developers to develop and publish user help documentation and draft standard operating procedures documentation for installation and systems setups. The successful candidate will also work to develop job aids and other training materials, and should have a thorough understanding of the system functions to ensure customer audiences can follow.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance
  
• At least two (2) years of experience writing, editing, and publishing technical documents – such as process, systems, and user documentation
  
• Experience with creating written document, interactive, and recorded help documentation
  
• Experience rapidly understanding new systems and business requirements
