Electronic Quality Technician

Cattron™ is a global leader in radio remote control, engine and generator control panels and cloud-based monitoring and control solutions. As an Electronic Quality Technician, an employee would be evaluating manufactured electronic products to ensure quality and functionality are to standards, drawings, and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Verification and validation of electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies.
• Maintains accurate quality records.
• Adjusts, calibrates, and aligns electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies.
• Supports a safe and clean work area and environment.
• Verifies accurate assembly of electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies.
• Follows test specifications, test procedures and verbal instructions in order to test/validate functionality of equipment.

Requirements 

• Must have general knowledge of multimeter, Ohm’s Law, and electronic components.
• Capable of using hand tools such as soldering iron, wire strippers/cutters, screwdrivers, etc.
• Ability to read, comprehend and apply written work instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Must be competent in spelling, proofreading, and possess a good vocabulary.
• Computer literacy, Windows 10, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education/Experience

• Associate degree or adequate electronics experience.
