Job Title: Sr. Vascular Interventional Tech

Position Purpose

• The vascular angio interventional technologist assists physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided vascular and non-vascular procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, thrombolysis, and more. Utilizes sophisticated fluoroscopic equipment to capture images of blood vessels and internal anatomy for diagnostic and therapeutic benefit. 

As a “Sr. Vascular Interventional Tech” you will:

• Be proficient in Interventional Radiology, Vascular Interventional, and Neuro Interventional procedures.   

• Demonstrate competence in positioning techniques, as well as safe and accurate equipment utilization.   

• Demonstrate in depth knowledge of the many various catheters, balloons, guidewires, drains, ports, coils, stents, and embolization devices that are utilized during typical interventional examinations.  

• Demonstrate the capability for maintaining professional and cooperative working relationships consistent with the Holy Cross guiding behaviors, as well as support the mission and philosophy of Holy Cross Health.   

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program. 

• ARRT Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Vascular Interventional Radiography, or equivalent 

• Licensed by the State of Maryland. 

• BLS/ACLS Certified through AHA 

• At least 3 year experience in a progressive acute care setting hospital performing IR, Neuro, and Vascular cases 

Pay Range: $43.04 - $64.56

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

[FT/PT Benefit eligible Roles]:

**0.5 FTE (20 hours weekly) up to 1.0 FTE (40 hours weekly)
