Team member must value patient confidentiality and security of medical records. Applicant must have experience with PCC, entering admissions and off-site storage management.

Requirements:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Louisiana
• 1 year experience in medical records department
• Previous experience with an electronic medical records system in a hospital setting

Job Duties:

• Maintain medical record system in compliance with federal, state and local requirements
• Assist with audit duties and data entry
• Assure that all medical records are protected and kept confidential
• Identify late, incomplete and inaccurate documentation and report to responsible individual for completion/correction
• Assemble/process admission packets and discharge records timely and accurately
