Special Events Attendant -

 THE JOB:

It is the primary responsibility of the Special Event Attendant to ensure that all items are replenished and distributed for the events efficiently, safely and meet company standards.

 THE STARTING RATE: $20.00

 THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Perform event-related installation tasks including pulling inventory, loading/unloading, delivery and on-site set-up

• Perform event-related tear down tasks including on-site disassembly of props, florals, linen and decor, loading/unloading, return and restocking

• Adhere to safety, security and property dock/loading procedures and policies

• Properly pack, unpack and check goods against orders and handle inventory to protect against damage

• Accurately read and complete all required paperwork

• Create a SHOW Service work environment promoting creativity, collaboration, teamwork, recognition, mutual respect

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

 THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

• Knowledgeable of operating hand and power tools and equipment

• Able to lift items, push and pull carts, manual pallet jacks stand and walk for prolonged periods of time

• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment

• Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
