Senior Accountant

TAX/FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

• Providing documentation to tax advisors for preparation of monthly LUX VAT returns, review and approval of returns provided by tax advisors.
• Review and approval of German monthly VAT returns.
• Monitoring of payments for monthly VAT returns, CIT, NWT.
• Coordination, review and approval of annual financial statements.
• Coordination, review and approval of annual VAT and CIT returns for Luxembourg, Germany & Austria.
• Reconciliation to yardi system (in regard to VAT, CIT, NWT).
• Questions regarding potential distributions.
• Support during annual audit (preparation of tax packages, split GE/LUX in cooperation with external parties).
• Tax registration for new entities (in Germany and Luxembourg).
  

REPORTING

• Support during onboarding of new acquisitions.
• Support during monthly reporting.
• Analysis Actuals vs. Budget, Forecasting.
• Support in communication with external Property management.
• Support for internal teams - e.g. Asset management, Construction, Development.
• Supervision/support for Accountants and Junior Accountant in the team.

Requirements

• +5 years of experience in Accounting (including min. 3 years on a Senior level).
• Experience in real estate sector would be advantage.
• Certified Public Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or Tax Specialist (Steuerfachwirt) - advantage.
• Experience in financial reporting would be advantage.
• Languages: German (native), English - professional working level.
• Independent person.
• Team player.
