Short Description

     Assists the supervising surgeon in the management of patients, and performs diagnostic

     and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of the surgeon.

 

     Provides first and second assist in Saphenous vein harvest and works closely with the

     surgeon in providing quality, efficient and continuous and cost-effective care during the

     patient's hospitalization.

Experience Required

Experience acceptable to the State Board of Medical Examiners.

 

Experience as first-assist Saphenous vein harvest.

Education Requirements

Graduation from an approved course of study.

 

Graduate from an NLN approved School of Nursing

License/Certification Requirements

NJ RN License.

NJ APN License.

 

Current NJ-ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required
