  • Resolve out-of-balance conditions proactively.

  • Support accurate segment and entity-level reporting.

Spin-Off & TSA Transition Management

  • In tandem with Tax and Treasury, establish standalone intercompany structure.
  • Oversee accounting and settlement of Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs).
  • Implement permanent intercompany frameworks replacing inherited processes.
  • Align intercompany accounting with transfer pricing policies in coordination with Tax.

SOX & Controls

  • Design and maintain SOX-compliant controls over intercompany transactions and eliminations.
  • Ensure documentation of reconciliation processes and settlement approvals.
  • Partner with SOX and Internal Audit teams on control testing and remediation.
  • Minimize manual journal entries through system automation and standard workflows.

Systems & Process Optimization

  • Drive ERP and consolidation system configuration to support automated intercompany matching and elimination.
  • Implement standardized intercompany coding and chart of accounts structure.
  • Reduce reconciliation cycle time and eliminate recurring disputes.
  • Evaluate intercompany automation tools where appropriate.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Partner closely with:
    • Tax (transfer pricing and documentation)
    • Treasury (settlement and funding flows)
    • Regional Controllers
    • FP&A (entity-level reporting alignment)
    • Technical Accounting (complex intercompany arrangements)
  • Serve as enterprise escalation point for intercompany disputes.
