To qualify for the Inventory Management Specialist, PG -2010-12, you must meet the following requirements: To minimally qualify for the PG-12 level, you must have one year of specialized experience at the PG-11 (or equivalent) level or higher. Examples of qualifying experience for the PG-12 level may include, but are not limited to, 1) Review purchases to find and track new BPAs, receipts, and MROs. 2) Manage the annual financial audits. 3) Conduct weekly inventories of the secure credentials, passport material, and general materials. 4)Receive, review and process all documents into an inventory database. 5)Distribute work through the inventory database to employees. 6) Conduct on the job training to lower grade employees. 7) Schedule secure and non-secure shipments. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Only experience and education obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.
