Full Stack Developer Intern | IT Digital Customer Experience

Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Full Stack Developer Intern, you will join the IT Enterprise Applications Digital Customer Experience Organization that is responsible for providing technology solutions to transform the way Extreme Networks does business is the digital world. You will be learning about design-led thinking and applying this mindset to creating solutions to solve customer problems.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:· You will engage with business stakeholders, UI designers, developers, Quality engineers and architects to create high performing and easy to use digital solutions.· Comfortable building responsive, optimized web experiences· Collaborates with the Digital Product Managers, UX Designers, business application developers and vendors to ensure solutions meet strategic business goals and user experience vision· Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle including; understanding the problem and solutioning, conducting systems analysis, design, development and testing before implementing new features to production· You will have the opportunity to gain a solid understanding of scalable micro-services architecture, and technical knowledge including API development/integration and software development best practices· Work with senior developers to understand risks and resolving issues that affect scope, schedule, and quality· Collaborate with UI/UX designers to improve usability
Minimum Requirements:· Familiar with server-side languages (such as NodeJS, SQL, JavaScript,) and web services (such as REST, JSON, XML, SOAP)· HTML, CSS, Bootstrap· Familiar with mobile-first development best practices and automated testing frameworks· Familiar with GitHub, JIRA and CI/CD
Your Experience:· Completed a coding intensive bootcamp or are currently enrolled in a four-year academic institution completing an undergrad, grad degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.· Excellent communication and writing skills· Ability to work directly with a team in an agile environment.· Self-motivated developer and problem solverExtreme Networks, Inc.
